PlayStation reveals a refreshed Pulse headset lineup

Sony has introduced the PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset and Pulse Edge Wireless Headset. The announcement builds on the audio direction established by Pulse Elite, retaining a focus on custom planar magnetic drivers and positional detail.

Larger drivers are intended to provide deeper bass while keeping individual sounds distinct. Sony highlights directional cues such as footsteps and reloads as examples of the intended benefit.
